Harlan R Schmidt Jr.

With broken hearts we say good-bye to a treasured club member, Harlan R Schmidt Jr., Colonel, US Army-Retired.

A dedicated range officer and life club member, Harlan was highly respected, loved and admired by all. He was always ready and more than willing to assist in any and every way possible. Harlan was always first to volunteer when help was needed, whether it was teaching a new shooter, supervising shooters, or anything in-between, Harlan was more than generous with his infinite knowledge, kind heart, and smile that illuminated the entire area around him.

A military service honoring Harlan was held at Haven of Rest in Gig Harbor, Washington, followed by a memorial service at Gig Harbor Yacht Club, on September 30, 2018.

With gratitude we celebrate the time we had together, and with sadness we miss Harlan’s presence, now and forever.
