In support of preventing the spread of COVID-19 and in compliance with Governor Jay Inslee’s Statewide Emergency Proclamation, the Gig Harbor Sportsman’s Club has temporarily closed its ranges and recreational facilities.  The length of this temporary closure will be until May 1st. However, the situation is very fluid and may change with an increase/decrease in the spread of the virus and may also change with additional governmental action.  Updates in regard to the GHSC closure will be posted on our website as the situation evolves.

Club leadership realizes that our members deserve to have their memberships extended for the entire time that the club will be closed.  The internal process to make sure this is accomplished is being formulated this week and will be on the website by the end of the week.

We have a commitment to this community that takes precedence over our love of the shooting sports.  Our community is facing an unprecedented crisis. As Gig Harbor’s oldest service organization, we take safeguarding our community’s health very seriously and cooperation and adherence to health professionals’ suggestions are our first priority.  We have a longstanding commitment to this community, and we will continue to do all we can to help in this battle to defeat this virus.
