Annual Meeting & Elections

The Annual Meeting, and elections, are held every August.  This is a wonderful opportunity for members to get together, join in fellowship, and be involved in the election process.



Regarding the election process, all candidates must have been a member in good standing for at least 1 year. Each year candidates are given the opportunity to post their statements and/or a bio in support of their candidacy on the website, prior to the election.  Candidates are also given the opportunity to address the membership during the annual meeting. Nominations may also be made from the floor at the annual meeting. Nominees must be present when nominated or have given their consent in writing prior to being accepted as a nominee.


The meeting is adjourned while voting takes place.  Voting by Proxy is not allowed, nor may any other member submit a ballot for another member other than their spouse.  Any ballot handled by anyone other than the respective member, their spouse, the club secretary or their designee prior to tally, will be disqualified.


Absentee ballots are available for those who wish or cannot make the annual meeting.  For absentee ballots please contact the club secretary.  Ballots must be returned by the designated date, or delivered by the voting member at the annual meeting.


Upon completion of the ballot tally the meeting is called back to order for announcement of the results. 


Trap is opened upon adjournment, giving everyone an opportunity to have fun breaking the clays.  Others choose to use the time to visit with fellow club members, frequently while enjoying some type of treat.  Bucks Famous Beans has been known to delight attendee's taste buds, plus many bring scrumptious desserts to share.
