The Gig Harbor Sportsman’s Club was established in the mid 1930′;s, and incorporated on October 7, 1947. The property and facilities are used by various entities and individuals including the community and general public at large, law enforcement, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, local educational institutions, organized competitive associations, and other organized groups in the recreational community.

All purposes of firearms recreation are accommodated, including education and instruction in firearms safety and skills development, proficiency, competition, and hunter’s sight-in.

The Gig Harbor Sportsman’s Club is pleased to be able to offer various shooting venues including archery, rifle, pistol and shotgun in a supervised, safe environment.  The Club’s paramount objective is the safety of our patrons, employees, volunteers, and community.

The Club prides itself in being good stewards of the environment, and works with the State Department of Wildlife, the Department of Fisheries and other agencies in the conservation of game and wildlife.

Good sportsmanship is promoted by training club members and others in the rules of Sportsmanship, clay target shooting, and by participating in community activities that are in the best interests of the club and conducive to conservation of natural resources in the Peninsula area.

Come join us for fun and fellowship!
