Olympic Interclub League Rules

These rules are to be used to put order in place when needed for the overall good of the Shooters involved and the League.

Each Shoot shall consist of 50 singles targets and 50 22yd handicap targets with an optional shoot which will alternate each year between doubles and continental.

The Olympic Interclub League will receive $1.00 per shooter, each shoot for awards and expenses.

Each host club must provide a person to handle all money transactions for their designated shoot.

Each host club will provide lunch services

PITA Rules that pertain will be governing

All shooters must designate the club they will be shooting for before the shoot starts.

All shooters must be a member of the club they are representing.

Shooters can represent different host clubs if they are a member of such club.

Shooters that are not a member of any host club (guests) will be placed in an “unaffiliated” status for that shoot and their scores cannot be counted for host club or high overall scores. They will be allowed to shoot for prizes or money one time. To be allowed in the future to shoot for prizes or money, they must become a member of a host club and show proof.

Low score throw out:

Each Shooter may throw out their lowest score to be in contention for the H.O.A. (High Over All) League, H.O.A. Club awards and the Continental/Doubles Option (If entered). H.O.A. and Continental/Doubles Option total scores will consist of no less and no more than five individual League scores for that year.

Disputes:

Disputes will be brought to a forum involving the Olympic Interclub League Representatives for each host club. A decision will be made that will be fair and impartial to all parties for the overall good of the Shooters and League. All decisions made by the League Representatives are final.

Prizes:

Each host club is to provide 6 boxes of shells for their shoot to be distributed as follows; 1st place singles: 2 boxes, 1st place handicap: 2 boxes and 1st place doubles/continental: 2 boxes. Any ties for the above mentioned prizes will be determined by a simple coin toss. Shooters need not be present during the determining coin toss.

Doubles and Continental optional Shoot (alternating each year) :

Scores for the doubles/continental will not count towards HOA or Club scores. Each host club is to provide 2 boxes of new shells (see “prizes”) to be awarded to the 1st place Shooter determined by score. Any ties will be determined by a simple coin toss. Shooters need not be present during the determining coin toss.

Continental and Doubles Option (alternating each year) :

The option is $1:00 per shoot, paid in full ($6.00) by the 2nd scheduled shoot. Scores will be tallied for the entire season (six shoots) with one throw-out score (See Low Score Throw Out). Money payouts will consist of the top 3 places, determined by score, split in a high to low graduating series. In the event of a tie, monies designated will be split between the shooters in said placement. No payouts will be over the designated amount of said placement.

In the event of a tie for High Overall Individual:

The tie breaker will consist of using the last 25 targets shot to determine which shooter had the higher score. In the event of a tie using this procedure, the shooter that missed a target first will be eliminated. In the event that both shooters did not miss any targets in the last 25, the previous 25 targets will be used (as listed above) and continue this procedure until a winner is determined. In the event of a tie when all previous procedures are exhausted, a simple coin toss will determine the winner.

In the event of a tie for High Overall Club:

The last shoot score will be used to determine the winner. In the event of a tie using this procedure, the previous shoot score will be used (as listed above) and continue this procedure until a winner is determined. In the event of a tie when all previous procedures are exhausted, a simple coin toss will determine the winner.

Payouts for the Handicap Option:

Money payouts will consist of the top 4 places, determined by score, split in a high to low graduating series. In the event of a tie, monies designated will be split between the shooters in said placement. No payouts will be over the designated amount of said placement.

These Rules can be changed, modified or edited by the overall consensus of the Olympic Interclub League Representatives for the good of the Shooters and League. (rev: 3/1/2011)
